The cover photograph was taken in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania, circa 1880.  It shows a woman wearing traditional Harmonist garb, including the early 18th century Swabian dress and cap.  The dress is made of silk, which may have been produced at Old Economy Village.  The photograph is reproduced by permission of Old Economy Village and the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission.
